Anthropic IPO filing dominates the headline flow

The single biggest thread in the feed is Anthropic's IPO filing, carried mostly as a run of one-line newswire snaps. The company has filed to list Class A shares on the Nasdaq Global Select Market under the ticker ANT, with Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley named as leads, and one headline citing the WSJ says the offering is targeted for the week of November 16. The figures in the snaps: first-half 2026 revenue of $16.29 billion, up from $1.2 billion a year earlier. On the loss, the headlines conflict, one states a net loss of $80.7 million and another describes it as an $80.7 billion loss, so take that number as unresolved from what's here. Other snaps pull risk-factor language straight out of the filing: that revenue growth may not be sustainable and the rate of growth may decrease, that the company may need additional financing sooner than anticipated, that it does not expect to pay dividends, and unusually blunt language about advanced AI posing catastrophic or existential risks to humanity without appropriate oversight and about economic disruption greater than previous technologies. One headline puts planned compute spend at up to $120.5 billion across SpaceX, xAI and Nvidia. Separately, a headline says Meta plans to raise up to $95 billion in equity to fund AI.

Strive's $1bn preferred ATM

Strive (ASST) was the subject of two full reads of the same piece. The stock was down 2.5% pre-open after the bitcoin treasury company announced a $1.0 billion at-the-market program to sell its 15.00% Series A Perpetual SATS Preferred Stock. The article's argument is that an ATM lets Strive drip preferred into the market over time, which raises capital flexibly but leaves common holders under a growing layer of senior dividend claims that rank ahead of any buyback or distribution. Alongside that, Strive disclosed it bought 6,182 bitcoin for roughly $511 million between October 17 and 23, taking its treasury to around 43,000 BTC, financed through the same preferred machinery. StoneX raised its target on ASST to $43 from $32 the same day, keeping a Buy, which the piece credits with limiting the pre-market fall. The broader tape was no help or hindrance, S&P 500 up 0.3% and Nasdaq up 0.6%, so the move was read as company-specific. A separate headline covers the same offering. On the related theme, Strategy paused bitcoin purchases in the week of October 19-25, holding 848,517 BTC acquired for $64.02 billion at an average $75,446, and instead repurchased $204.9 million of its STRC preferred.

Corcept bounces on BELLA ovarian cancer data

Corcept (CORT) rose 3.7% pre-open after Part A of the Phase 2 BELLA trial of Lifyorli (relacorilant) with nab-paclitaxel and bevacizumab in platinum-resistant ovarian cancer. In 95 patients the triple combination showed median progression-free survival of 7.2 months and a 59% objective response rate, against 5.4 months and 37% for the two-drug arm in the Phase 3 ROSELLA study. In the roughly half of patients who were bevacizumab-naive, PFS was 8.1 months and response rate 66%. At six months, 88% of BELLA patients were alive, versus 82% for the two-drug arm and 77% for chemotherapy alone in ROSELLA, with median overall survival not yet reached. Context matters here: CORT had fallen about 29.6% between October 5 and October 23, including roughly 20% in one session on October 23 after Genmab said its Phase 3 RAINFOL-02 trial of rinatabart sesutecan hit both primary PFS and key overall survival endpoints in the same patient group.

Two Indian earnings calls, opposite stock reactions

Five-Star Business Finance reported Q2 FY27 net profit after tax of INR 299 crores, up 10% sequentially and 5% year on year, with record disbursements of INR 2,078 crores, up 39% sequentially and 74% year on year. AUM reached INR 14,640 crores, collection efficiency improved to 98.2% and credit cost eased to 1.80% of average AUM. The stock still fell 7.48% to $414.85. The article points to guidance for incremental borrowing costs rising to 8.70-8.75% in H2 and 10-15 basis points of spread compression as the likely concern, plus a high P/E relative to near-term growth; management is raising lending rates 1% on new disbursements from October to offset funding costs. More than 80% of AUM sits in three states. Mankind Pharma went the other way, up 3.83% to $2,302, on revenue of INR 4,338 crore (up 17.3%), EBITDA of INR 1,175 crore (up 27.2%, margin 27.1%) and PAT of INR 716 crore (up 37.7%). International revenue rose 33% to INR 680 crore and volume growth improved to 6.7% from 4.7% in Q1. Management kept FY27 EBITDA margin guidance at 25.5-26.5% despite beating it, and cut the consumer healthcare outlook to high single-digit growth.

Fair Isaac price target cuts after flat mortgage pricing

Mizuho cut Fair Isaac's target to $986 from $1,063, keeping Outperform, after FICO announced its Preferred Program on Friday, holding the wholesale mortgage score price at $10 through tri-merge resellers for lenders and brokers who opt in. The $10 covers a bundle of Classic FICO and FICO Score 10T, is flat year on year, and requires lenders to commit to pulling FICO scores, though it is not exclusive and lenders can still pull VantageScore. Mizuho trimmed revenue and adjusted EPS estimates on the flat 2027 pricing. The stock was at $815, down 52% year to date and 56% off its $1,859 high, with seven analysts cutting earnings estimates. The piece also recaps the cluster around it: Wells Fargo downgraded to Equal Weight, BMO cut to $897 (Outperform) and separately reiterated $1,150, UBS cut to $942 (Neutral), and RBC reiterated $1,525.

Other analyst notes, headline-only

A run of broker moves appears as headlines with no detail beyond the direction. Stephens raised targets on Zions Bancorp (capital strength), Horizon Bancorp (strong quarter), Banner to $78 (deposit growth) and South State (improved NIM outlook). Stifel went the other way across gambling and building names, cutting Rush Street Interactive on tax uncertainty, Flutter on the Brazil exit, Genius Sports on legal uncertainty, DraftKings to $32 on spending concerns, and Builders FirstSource. Morgan Stanley upgraded Lockheed Martin, saying the F-35 deal removes a key risk. UBS upgraded Ross Stores to Buy on a stronger sales outlook. Evercore has a preview out on Amazon ahead of Q3, and Citi named top picks in European energy services.

Brazil, oil and macro headlines

Brazil is the loudest macro item: headlines report Lula winning reelection, the real weakening 12%, Bovespa futures down nearly 20%, and analysts forecasting a market plunge. On oil, the FTSE piece in the feed attributes a rise to oil slipping on Iran de-escalation hopes, and a separate headline has Netanyahu's office denying reports of planned escalation against Iran before Israel's elections while Netanyahu touts a Trump endorsement and suggests they may restart the war. The IEA's Birol says energy prices won't return to pre-war levels in 2027, Russian refiners are reported ramping diesel output after a US deal, and Russian wheat export prices are down on Black Sea peace hopes. French 10-year yields dropped as much as 10.56bp to 4.9158%.

Corporate actions and company headlines

Getty Images filed for Chapter 11 with a $143.0 million DIP facility. Verizon reported Q3 and raised full-year guidance, though a separate headline notes the stock fell despite that. Ovintiv agreed to acquire Logan Energy for C$1.40 per share in cash, and a separate headline describes two top US natural gas producers combining in a $13 billion deal. Acuity is buying Parameter Technologies for $675 million, Francisco Partners closed its $650 million acquisition of Weave, Nathan's Famous completed its merger with Smithfield and delisted, and Boston Omaha closed the sale of its surety insurance unit for $84.3 million. Apollo is reported near a deal for roughly a 10% stake in Mubadala Capital. AutoZone's CFO Jamere Jackson departs November 25. LiveWire appointed a chief restructuring officer after its CEO resigned, which is the only colour behind its 8-K in the feed.

Routine 8-K filings with no content

Eight of the twenty full reads were Investing.com 8-K stubs for Peraso, GigCapital9, Boston Omaha, SS Innovations, SentinelOne, Empery Digital, LiveWire and Herc Holdings. They carry a ticker and a timestamp and nothing else, no description of what was filed. Worth knowing only as a prompt to go to the actual filing if any of those names matter to you.

TradingView retail setups

Five chart posts were read in full. UA_CAPITAL posted four near-identical long setups waiting on confirmation: CrowdStrike off a $234 demand zone with a descending trendline breakout needed, targets $287 and $300, invalidation below $220; Moderna at a $183 demand zone, targets $220, $254, $275, invalidation below $166; JPMorgan at $332, targets $353 and $365, invalidation below $324; Amazon at $248.50, target $278.50, invalidation below $238. A separate post from Danielroble5 describes buying Agnico Eagle and realising afterwards it had bought the Latin America-listed line rather than the US one. These are retail opinions, not research, and the rest of the TradingView items in the list are headline-only chart calls on gold, bitcoin, the dollar index and various FX crosses.
