What this feed actually is today

Almost nothing in these 200 items is reported news. The twenty items read in full are all Investing.com stubs for SEC Form 4 and Form 144 filings dated 11 October, and every one of them is a headline with no body: no insider name, no share count, no price, no transaction type. The only usable information on those pages is the quote widget and the ticker change shown alongside each filing. The remaining bulk is TradingView user chart posts, mostly on gold, EURUSD and bitcoin, which are individual trade opinions rather than reporting.

Tickers attached to the filing stubs

Taking the figures the filing pages themselves displayed, Humana was the standout at +11.56%. Constellation Energy was +4.56% and FuelCell Energy +4.55% on a Form 144, while Exascale Labs was the worst of the group at -4.90%. Woodward +3.73%, SentinelOne +3.43%, Maravai +3.19%, Natera +2.54% and BETA Technologies +2.34% followed, with Wrap Technologies -3.40%, Sonic Automotive -1.54%, Peoples Bancorp -1.40%, Avidbank -0.96%, UL Solutions -0.93%, Amerant -0.90% and Helmerich and Payne -0.77% on the other side. CoreWeave, Marvell and Jefferies were effectively flat. None of the articles says anything about why any of these moved; the filing and the quote simply sit on the same page.

Insider sales, with amounts

The headline-only items do put numbers on some of the same filings. UL Solutions president and CEO Jennifer Scanlon sold $876k of stock, Beta Technologies CEO Kyle Clark $612,234, SentinelOne CFO Sonalee Parekh $413,291, Marvell's SVP and chief accounting officer $300,949, MediaAlpha CEO Steven Yi $263,320, and Palo Alto Networks director Bawa $103,070. At Onemednet, CEO Aaron Green sold $47,762 and CFO Robert Golden $55,290. Two outliers in the headlines are an InnSuites Hospitality Trust sale by CEO Wirth stated at $2.17 billion and a Mineralrite director selling $106.7m of preferred shares, both figures that look odd against the size of those companies, and neither headline gives any detail behind them. The one purchase in the set is Sonic Automotive director Paul Rusnak buying $1.29m of shares.

Market backdrop carried on those pages

The snapshot repeated across every Investing.com page had the FTSE 100 at 10,552.05, up 1.06%, the DAX up 1.13%, the S&P 500 at 7,811.54 up 0.59% and the Dow up 0.83%, with the Nikkei flat. Metals were the strongest line: gold futures 4,220.30 up 1.52%, silver 61.11 up 2.84%, copper up 2.17%. Brent sat at 104.42, down 0.29%, WTI at 91.66, up 0.19%. UK gilt yields eased across the curve, the 10-year at 5.4457, while US yields rose slightly, the 10-year at 5.244. In single stocks, Vodafone was down 4.86% and BT down 2.38% against gains in HSBC and BHP. This is widget data, not reporting, so there is no explanation attached to any of it.

The handful of real news headlines

A few headline-only items point at actual stories, though I only have the headlines. A prominent Republican senator says Trump's Russian diesel deal may be illegal, and a DeItaone post adds that Senator Thom Tillis is the one raising it, with Bessent defending the deal and Canada objecting. Another DeItaone post says a Witkoff and Kushner trip to Moscow has been put on hold, per Axios. Elsewhere: BridgeBio presented encaleret trial data and dosed a first patient, Stellantis is betting on small affordable EVs for a European comeback, and there are pieces on what the bond sell-off means for monetary policy, US power demand through 2030, and how far the Strategic Petroleum Reserve can be drawn down. A transcript post quotes the JPMorgan CEO warning that higher rates and wider credit spreads can materially change valuations and financing conditions for AI and technology companies.

Noise to be aware of

Two identical posts attributed to RoaringKitty promote trading on the Pump app and claim a large personal payout. Worth knowing they are in the feed and that they are promotional in tone, nothing more.
