AxoGen jumps on beat and raised guidance

The biggest mover in the full-read items is AxoGen, up 20.53% in premarket trading to $45.15 from $37.46. Third-quarter adjusted EPS came in at $0.21 against a $0.13 estimate, with revenue of $75.8 million versus $73.16 million expected, up 26.2% from a year earlier. Breast reconstruction was the fastest-growing piece, with revenue in that segment up more than 60%, and Avance Nerve Graft made up 64% of revenue. Management raised full-year guidance to at least $290 million, or growth of at least 29%, with $283 million organic. The recently acquired BioCircuit brings NerveTape and should add at least $7 million in the fourth quarter and roughly $34 million in 2027 net of cannibalisation. Commercial payer coverage for Avance now reaches about 96% of US covered lives. Gross margin was 74.8%, down 180 basis points year on year on higher product costs but up sequentially from 72.7%.

Evercore's record quarter

Evercore rose 9.55% premarket to $284.68. Adjusted EPS of $4.28 beat the $2.53 estimate by 69%, and revenue of $1.17 billion came in 33% above the $878 million forecast. Adjusted net revenues were up 13% year on year at roughly $1.2 billion, a sixth consecutive quarterly record, with advisory fees of $1 billion. The compensation ratio fell to 63% from 65%, and the firm returned $189 million in the quarter, over $1 billion year to date. CEO John Weinberg pointed to record backlogs replenishing at a healthy rate; management also said non-M&A businesses now account for more than 40% of firmwide adjusted net revenues over the last four quarters. Note the stock had fallen 23% over the prior six months.

Beat-but-sold cluster: Blackbaud, V.F., Chefs' Warehouse

Three companies beat and still fell premarket, which is the clearest pattern in today's full reads. Blackbaud dropped 8.75% to $49 despite non-GAAP EPS of $1.36 against $1.33, because revenue of $292.64 million was essentially dead on the estimate; growth was 4.1%, free cash flow was $126 million, and the 2026 renewal cohort is about 40% larger than 2025's, which management said is weighing on reported growth into early 2027. V.F. Corp fell 3.82% to $16.38 after EPS of $0.70 against $0.53 and revenue of $2.7 billion against $2.66 billion, with gross margin up 290bp to 55.4%; Vans still fell 9.8% in the quarter and the company flagged $70 million to $80 million of unmitigated tariff costs in the second half. The Chefs' Warehouse fell 3.66% to $105 after EPS of $0.66 versus $0.58 and sales up 11.2% to $1.135 billion, with adjusted EBITDA up 26.3% and full-year guidance raised to $4.56–$4.61 billion in sales; the article notes the stock is up 86% over the past year on a P/E above 51.

GE Vernova orders and the Trench deal

GE Vernova beat on both lines, EPS $4.81 against $4.00 and revenue $12.64 billion against $12 billion, but shares rose only 0.55% premarket to $900. Orders nearly doubled, up 96% to $29.3 billion with book-to-bill above 2.0x, and backlog grew from $176 billion to about $200 billion. Free cash flow was $5.4 billion, up $4.7 billion year on year. Full-year guidance went up to $46.5–$47.5 billion revenue, 13.5–14.5% adjusted EBITDA margin and $16–$17 billion free cash flow, with Power margins hitting 21.4%. The company announced the Trench Group acquisition for its high-voltage grid business and doubled its buyback to $20 billion. Wind remains the soft spot. A separate headline-only slide deck item puts the Trench price at $9 billion.

European and Indian names

KPIT Technologies rose 3.87% to 552.5 on a quarter management called in line: revenue up 6.5% in rupee terms but roughly flat in constant currency, EBITDA margin up 60bp to 17.8%, product revenue up 25%, off-highway and commercial vehicles up 27%, passenger cars down 7%. Two large customers cutting or cancelling programmes cost the equivalent of 13% of sales, and margins are not expected back to 20–21% until early FY2028. KPN gained 2.87% to $4.199 on revenue of $1.5 billion against $1.47 billion expected, with group service revenue up 2.7% and EPS exactly in line; it reaffirmed its dividend and the EUR 250 million buyback. Epiroc went the other way, down 2.6% to $209.8 even with orders up 12% organically to SEK 17.5 billion and adjusted margin up to 20.4%, as operating cash flow fell to SEK 1.4 billion from SEK 2.5 billion on inventory build and long equipment lead times delay revenue conversion.

Smaller financials

OceanFirst posted core EPS of $0.48 against $0.40 and revenue of $185.13 million against $177.79 million in its first full quarter with Flushing Financial; net interest income rose to $172 million and core expenses of $114 million came in under the $120–125 million guide, though GAAP EPS was just $0.17 after $0.30 of merger costs. The stock barely moved. John Marshall Bancorp earned $0.55 against a $0.50 estimate on revenue of $18.06 million versus $18.61 million expected. HBT Financial declared a quarterly dividend of $0.25, payable 17 November to holders of record 9 November; the article notes the stock is up 55% over the past year near its 52-week high, and recent target raises from Keefe Bruyette & Woods to $43 and DA Davidson to $38.

What the headline-only items flag

A lot of this feed is routine Form 8K filings with no content behind them, plus a wall of TradingView chart posts. The headlines worth knowing about, without more detail than the headline gives: Boston Scientific fell 11% with a cybersecurity attack cited as weighing on guidance, Dropbox is cutting about 9% of its workforce with its CTO departing, LCI Industries confirmed an unsolicited non-binding $101-per-share cash proposal from Monomoy Capital Partners, and Artiva halted a cell therapy after patient deaths and cut 94% of staff. Robinhood fell on a Q3 miss with analyst target cuts, GSK dropped on weaker vaccine sales, and Sandoz cut its sales outlook. On earnings still to land, Alphabet and Microsoft report and the Fed decision is due. In the UK, Healey delivered his first budget, cutting the 2027 growth forecast to 1% and fiscal headroom to about £15 billion. Elsewhere: SK Hynix shares surged on a profit beat, Stellantis beat on revenue, EQT is acquiring Range, IREN secured $363 million of equipment financing, Scripps raised its political ad outlook while cutting 850 jobs, and the US goods trade deficit widened unexpectedly to $134.9 billion.
