BYSI doubles on volume, then gives it back pre-market

BeyondSpring was the biggest mover on the list, up 44.1% to $1.12 on Monday's close, on volume of 3.49 million shares against an 820,000-share average. The Yahoo quote page read in full gives no reason for the move, but there's an 8-K on the list the same day, headline-only, flagging Item 1.01 entry into a material definitive agreement plus an Item 8.01 other-events disclosure, which is the obvious place to look. Worth knowing the context: the company is a clinical-stage oncology name with a $46 million market cap, $6.53 million of cash, 44 employees, and a five-year return of -92.6%, and even after Monday it is down 31% year to date. The same page shows a pre-market print of $0.8241, down 26.4%, so a good chunk of the pop was already unwinding.

AMC at a 52-week high on a repaired balance sheet

AMC was up 11.9% and printed a 52-week high of $3.19, which Investing.com puts at a 210% gain over six months against a 1-year change of just 5.83%. The article ties the run to real operating news rather than sentiment alone: record Q2 2026 revenue and EBITDA, revenue up 14.2% and adjusted EBITDA up about 37% year on year, helped by the Spider-Man: Brand New Day opening at $355 million domestic and $927 million global. Alongside that, AMC has put through a $3.97 billion refinancing, including $2 billion of first-lien notes and an $850 million first-lien term loan, which drove a Moody's upgrade of the corporate family rating to B3 from Caa2 and liquidity to SGL-3 from SGL-4, plus an S&P upgrade to B- from CCC+ citing better operating performance and a path to sustained positive free cash flow. Shareholders also approved raising the 2024 equity incentive plan pool from 25 million to 50 million shares. Investing.com notes the price is above its own InvestingPro fair value of $2.93. Separately, a TradingView post flags a daily double-bottom breakout with support cited at $2.70 to $2.80.

Credo down on fresh insider selling

Credo fell 8.7% to $192.67. Investing.com attributes it specifically to a newly disclosed Form 4 covering insider selling on September 26 by the co-founder and CTO through the Cheng Huang Family Trust, the latest in a run of such filings, landing while the stock is still recovering from an 18-20% single-session drop after Q1 fiscal 2027 results in early September. Mizuho cut its target to $245 from $290 on September 21 and JPMorgan went to $310 from $335 on September 2, both maintaining positive ratings. The piece also points to a weak tech tape that day and the stock's high multiple. GuruFocus, covering the same decline, puts insider sales at $449.8 million over twelve months with no purchases, a GF Score of 85 with momentum 10/10 and profitability 4/10, and a trailing P/E of 68.8x against a five-year median of 131.8x. The Yahoo page shows the 52-week range at $86.49 to $308.67 and a 1-year target estimate of $280.10.

Surf Air on a CFO hire and an FAA agreement

Surf Air was up 7.2% on two separate pieces of company news. It named Jason Secore CFO effective September 30, an 18-year aviation and technology finance veteran who was previously CFO at Matternet, where he ran the move from venture-backed to publicly traded. Earlier the same day it disclosed a Memorandum of Agreement with the FAA making it a Participating Airspace User in the SMART initiative, contributing network planning, flight performance engineering, dispatch and flight operations specialists to the agency's airspace modernisation lab. Both GuruFocus pieces frame the fundamentals as thin: market cap around $137 to $147 million, GF Score 51 with growth 9/10 but financial strength 2/10, trailing EPS of -1.7, a Piotroski F-Score of 2 and an Altman Z-Score of -10.54, no insider buying and roughly $0.25 million of insider selling over twelve months. There's also an 8-K on the list, headline-only, under Item 5.02 officer changes, which lines up with the CFO announcement.

AngloGold hit by the macro tape, not company news

AngloGold Ashanti fell 6.3% to $92.77, and four items cover it. Investing.com puts the move down to a risk-off wave: Brent above $108 after President Trump rejected Iranian ceasefire terms, the US 10-year trading above 5.2%, and the S&P, Dow and Nasdaq all lower, which raises the opportunity cost of holding gold-linked equities. Two stock-specific items add to it, a BMO downgrade from Outperform to Market Perform, and a recent quarter where both EPS and revenue came in below consensus. The stock also crossed below its 200-day moving average of $96.58, trading as low as $91.85, against a 52-week range of $62.55 to $129.14, and GuruFocus calls it 41.2% above its $65.69 GF Value despite a GF Score of 82 and a trailing P/E of 12.4x versus a 21.6x five-year median. The fourth item is a Mining Forum Americas transcript, which is filed under AU on the list but is actually AAUC, Anglo Gold Ashanti's separately quoted line, so read it with that in mind: output rising from 379,000 ounces last year to 600,000 to 650,000 next year and near 800,000 by 2030, Kurmuk in Ethiopia weeks from first pour and a few weeks behind schedule but on budget at a projected $1,300 per ounce AISC on a 20-year power deal at $0.04 per kilowatt hour, Sadiola heading below $1,700, Côte d'Ivoire at $1,800 to $1,900, pro forma cash of CAD 487 million and a cash distribution policy promised before year-end.

TeraWulf slips with puts stacking up

TeraWulf was down 3.9% to $15.12, and is off 13.3% over the past week. The options coverage is the useful part: the put/call ratio ran at 1.44 against an average of 0.38, and 30-day implied volatility rose 2.3 points to 78.08, which the writer reads as traders buying downside protection. On fundamentals, GuruFocus flags a GF Score of 43, financial strength and profitability both 2/10, momentum 8/10, a P/S of 39.79 against a 12.45 three-year median, debt-to-equity of 35.56, an Altman Z-Score of -0.64, and a GF Value of $5.74 versus the market price. Insiders sold $36.1 million over twelve months against $0.4 million bought.

Navitas wins an Army contract after the close

Navitas closed down 3.9%, but the news on the list is dated the following morning and points the other way. The Army selected it for the ALATTIS program to develop 10 kV silicon carbide power semiconductors, extending its GeneSiC range above the 6.5 kV devices it makes today, and building a domestic manufacturing process for ultra-high-voltage SiC that the article says does not currently exist in the US. The award value was not disclosed. The prototype work covers design, fabrication and testing of 10 kV IGBTs and PiN diodes, sponsored by the Army Research Laboratory under Combat Capabilities Development Command, built on the company's trench-assisted planar architecture. GuruFocus notes the stock rose 10.74% in pre-market on it, and several headline-only items on the list, one citing a 20% move, describe the same surge. So the -3.9% on your quote is stale relative to this.

SpaceX Starship cluster

SPCX was down 2.2% and carries by far the most headlines, all headline-only, and they all circle one event: Starship's 14th flight reached orbit for the first time and deployed 26 Starlink V3 satellites, with one headline noting the engine issue and another saying shares were up 1.1% on the news. Around that sit a string of analyst actions, TD Cowen initiating at Buy citing AI compute and Starlink, CLSA initiating with a $250 target, Deutsche Bank maintaining $235, and reiterations from BofA, Bernstein, Clear Street and Evercore. None of these were read in full, so take them as stated and no more.

Oracle headlines, all unread

Oracle was down 3.3% with a dozen headline-only items and no full text. The ones with actual claims behind them: Meta unveiling an enterprise AI push aimed at Salesforce and ServiceNow, with Microsoft and Oracle stocks said to have fallen on it; an $18 billion Oracle AI project hitting a hurdle; Larry Ellison pledging $9.2 billion of stock against loans; Michael Burry adding 2027 put bets naming Oracle and Nebius; a new financial-crime AI toolset; and a Form 4. Two valuation headlines point in opposite directions, one calling it undervalued on GF Value after the drop, another putting DCF value at $113.

Everything else was quiet or headline-only

The rest of the list is small moves with single-line news. SanDisk fell 3.7% with four technical and one "600% rally heading into a big memory test" headline, none read. Astera Labs -3.6% and Vertiv -3.6% appear only via ETF outflow notes and a Bernstein reiteration. Joby -3.3% has a $45 million contract ceiling increase for an autonomous cargo project. Netflix -2.7% carries a Deutsche Bank upgrade with the target lowered to $95, and Butterfly Network -2.6% an Evercore initiation at Outperform. On the upside, VerifyMe +3.1% has a Form 4 and an 8-K, SI-Bone +0.9% got FDA clearance for its iFuse Granite Onyx system, Incyte +0.8% had target raises from JP Morgan to $123 and HC Wainwright to $152, and Vicor +1.1% is noted as up 44.9% across September. Iovance was flat but raised its 2026 revenue forecast above estimates, and Costco was flat with Deutsche Bank trimming to $1,079 and Argus holding $1,230. Apple's twenty-odd entries are almost entirely daily ETF flow reports and carry no news.

  222. As expected, Fake News CNN, Politico (Pay back the 8 Million Dollar contribution made by the U.S. Government to keep them afloat!), and MSNOW (formerly known as MSDNC!), have brought suit to gain access to the White House, and your President, ME! They have drawn a great Judge, for them, a man who ruled in favor of Jim Acosta, who now seems to have disappeared from the Planet. The Judge’s name is Tim Kelly, and he was, sadly, appointed by “TRUMP.” In other words, almost without question and, as usual, we’ll go for appeal because Fake News people and publications that only write negatively, and who violate our National Security by writing false and defamatory stories with unknown “sources,” shouldn’t be allowed access to the most important Office anywhere in the World. It is called the Oval Office, and it should be treated with Decorum, Respect, and Dignity, not defiled by Third Rate Clowns, who purposefully distort, twist, and degrade with everything they write or publish. Virtually every story about me, or anything having to do with me, is negative, wrong and, in many cases, DANGEROUS for our Country! No matter how GREAT my Achievements, they trivialize and demean. The fact is, I won all seven Swing States, the Popular Vote, the Electoral College (312 to 226), and the Counties throughout America by 86%, and yet it is reported that I get 94% bad publicity. With such a Crooked and Corrupt Press, how did I win in such a LANDSLIDE? It is because the Media has NO credibility, and that is a very bad thing for our Nation! Why should I have to give “access” to such people? Perhaps Judge Kelly could explain that! In any event, I have an obligation to fight for the Success and Safety of our Country. FAKE NEWS IS A THREAT TO DEMOCRACY, and I will do whatever is necessary to make sure that the U.S.A. thrives. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN! President DONALD J. TRUMP

  234. BREAKING NEWS: I am pleased to announce that the United States of America has entered into an Agreement with The Kingdom of Denmark, and Greenland, that gives the United States permanent control over security, and all other needs, in Greenland, completely addressing ALL of our many U.S. concerns. There will be NO COST to the United States! At my direction, we worked with representatives of Denmark and Greenland to guarantee that the United States will FOREVER have the complete ability to do what is necessary in Greenland in order to secure and defend the security of Greenland, and the United States of America. Additionally, from now on, no U.S. adversary can EVER have a base in Greenland, have a military presence in Greenland, or make sensitive investments in Greenland, without our express written approval. For over 100 years, Presidents have known the strategic importance of Greenland, but NONE of them were able to do anything about it. I am proud to be the President that permanently and conclusively addressed this very important situation. This is an “Infinite Life” Agreement, there is no end! We are very honored and proud of what has just taken place, and everything agreed to today will be cherished by the American People. We will immediately begin the process of developing a large Military presence in the appropriate part of Greenland, of which there are many. We will work with the people of Greenland in its development and construction. This solution is a great one for the United States of America, Denmark, Greenland, and all of our Allies. We look forward to working with the wonderful people of Denmark and Greenland toward a magnificent future with respect to this large, and highly strategic, parcel of land. We will be very protective of it! This is a dream come true for the United States of America, one that is very important, historic, and special. Thank you for your attention to this matter! President DONALD J. TRUMP
