VerifyMe reverse split and merger vote

VRME is down 18.0%, and there's real news behind it. AAPL is up 1.5% with a long run of ETF holdings-change headlines and a Bernstein note, headline-only, saying December-quarter earnings could disappoint on higher memory costs, with EPS cut to $2.87 from $3.00 versus $2.92 consensus while keeping Outperform. Qualcomm's Apple licensing renewal appears in the same cluster. Celularity raises $10m, biggest move on the list

CELU is up 14.8%, and there is real news behind it. Celularity closed an initial tranche of a private placement of senior secured convertible notes and warrants generating over $10 million gross, the first step in a recapitalisation that contemplates up to $25 million of new cash plus restructuring of roughly $3 million of existing debt. The notes run 24 months at 10% annual interest compounded annually, convertible into Class A stock at $1.50, with five-year warrants struck at the same price. Management says it has cut monthly cash burn by more than $1 million through personnel and resource changes, and expects positive monthly operating cash flow by the end of Q1 2027, based on higher manufacturing revenue and deployment of existing inventory. That inventory is cenplacel-L, its placenta-derived cell therapy, which management estimates at about $40 million of potential sales value in jurisdictions where supply is legally authorised. Philip A. Barach joins a newly constituted five-member board alongside Robert Hariri and Peter Diamandis, with two more directors to come. Odeon Capital was placement agent. The second CELU item, a Nasdaq earnings calendar page, contains no actual data.

Planet Labs up 7.6% with no stated cause

PL rose 7.6% to $17.62. The GuruFocus piece covering it gives no reason for the move, only valuation commentary: GF Value of $5.61 against the $17.62 price, a GF Score of 63 with momentum 8/10 and growth 7/10 but valuation 1/10 and profitability 2/10, a 52-week range of $10.52 to $51.76, and insider selling of $52.6 million over the past twelve months. Seven gurus hold it, four adding and three trimming. Nebius jumps on BNP upgrade and October price rises

NBIS is up 7.4%, and this is the busiest name in the list with seven full-text reads. The driver is BNP Paribas Exane, where Stefan Slowinski moved the rating from Neutral to Outperform and lifted the target to $399 from $260. The stock closed $243.44 against a prior close of $226.61. The reasoning runs through pricing: Nebius told customers that from October 1 it is raising on-demand GPU cloud prices on Nvidia H100, H200, B200 and B300 instances by roughly 17–21%, and AMD EPYC Genoa CPU rates by around 25%, the second increase in a matter of months. Investing.com frames that as a signal of tight compute capacity rather than cost pass-through, with Q2 AI cloud revenue of $574.9 million and an adjusted EBITDA margin near 50% underneath it. BNP's number is roughly $22 billion of annual recurring revenue by end-2027. Fintel adds the surrounding analyst picture: consensus target mean $289.19 and median $306.00 as of September 15, 25 ratings split 72% positive, with Rothschild initiating at Sell on September 21 and Truist at Buy on September 9. Q2 came in at EPS of -0.12 against -0.6358 estimated and revenue of $582.3 million against $584.2 million expected; next earnings October 22. The August filings noted most deals were signed against capacity arriving late 2026 feeding 2027 revenue, a first capacity auction pilot at the highest Blackwell price to date, and a $5.75 billion convertible note offering closed August 24. One caution on the GuruFocus coverage: it repeats a GF Score of 55, a price-to-sales ratio around 50 against a historical median of 6.94, and insider selling of $179.9 million over twelve months with no purchases, against eight gurus of whom seven added. One of those GuruFocus pieces is internally inconsistent, dating the upgrade to October 2023 and naming a different analyst.

CoreWeave upgrade on the same pricing theme

Filed under NBIS but about CoreWeave: JPMorgan's Samik Chatterjee moved CRWV to Overweight and raised his December 2027 target to $125 from $120. Same logic as the Nebius call. He points to 25% price changes across CoreWeave products in July, frequent increases at Nebius, short-term compute at some rivals running near three times CoreWeave's long-term contract rate, Q3 contracts at about $40 million per megawatt, and management's claim that higher pricing adds 5 to 10 points to contribution margin on new contracts. Contracted power was 4.2 gigawatts as of August 11, up from 3.1 at the end of 2025. Worth reading the two calls together: the neocloud pricing cycle is what both banks are underwriting.

Iovance reinstated at Buy by Goldman

IOVA is up 6.0%. Goldman Sachs reinstated coverage with a Buy and a $15 target, the stated rationale being that early logistical and operational hurdles around the Amtagvi (lifileucel) launch are easing, which should lift gross margins. Market cap around $4.6 billion. The GuruFocus framing is mixed: GF Score of 32, profitability 1/10 against financial strength 7/10, current ratio 4.35 and Altman Z-Score 10.76, trailing EPS of -0.72, and price-to-sales of 12.9 versus a historical median near 11. Momentum has been extreme, with the stock up 180.7% over 24 weeks and 392.3% over 52. One guru holds and has added; no insider trading reported. A second GuruFocus write-up of the same call gives slightly different figures and a wrong date, so treat the exact numbers loosely.

Revolution Medicines, insider selling into strength

RVMD is up 4.8%. The two full-text items are Form 144 and Form 4 filing notices with no substance in the body.
